Money: paper that somehow is worth more than other pieces of paper. Yet it is so important in living a comfortable life. Sometimes we need extra money, whether it be for spending, surprise expenses, or for savings and just do not have the time or patience for another job. Of course, all these won't necessarily be fast cash, but you never know.
So there you have it, six ways to make extra money without becoming employed. Results vary but what do you have to lose? Happy earning!
I have been lucky enough to visit the United Kingdom four times. All four times the experience has been the same: wet, grey, and that type of cold that starts out with you saying "oh it's fine out!" to "Where is the nearest pub I'm freezing" (the answer to this question is 500 feet away). Coming from New England, I know cold. I know how much of a staple your black North Face puffy jacket is in the nor'easter. But the type of cold that is present in the UK is the type that settles into your bones, along with the steady rain that falls. You really begin to understand why all those Gothic writers are from England.
So I am writing today a packing list that applies to all three countries: England, Scotland, and Ireland. Take this all with a grain of salt as you know you better than everyone. Remember that you do not want to over pack, nothing is worse than the stress that comes from over weight luggage. If you don't use it at home, you won't use it on vacation. If you have never worn it before, you won't wear it on vacation.
So there are the basics! Key take away here is warmth and layers, you can always take off or add. Have an amazing time in the UK! Have a Guinness in Ireland, fish 'n chips in England, and go thrift shopping in Scotland for me!
Today, March 10 2018, The Great Beyond Blog is born. I will be graduating high school in three months and will be preparing to move to Scotland where I will be majoring in Festival and Events Management with French Language. I have had the amazing opportunity to travel far and often, thanks to my wonderful parents. I have been to 18 US states and 11 countries, and I hope this number continues to grow! I will be devoting the rest of my blog to anything that I think may be helpful to anyone out there: packing lists, college process, things to do, etc. I hope at least someone will find help in my writing. Thank you for any who read my posts. And now lets go to the great beyond.
